Not Sherwin-Williams. The independent paint store a mile up the road.
Commonwealth Coatings is an independent paint store and your local Benjamin Moore retailer at Palomar Centre in Lexington. If you were headed to Sherwin-Williams, here is what is different about stopping here instead.
What's different between Benjamin Moore & Sherwin-Williams
We are independent.
No corporate pricing sheet, no regional manager, no script. Chris Walker owns this store, and the people behind the counter are the same every time you come in.
We carry Benjamin Moore.
Aura®, Regal® Select, ADVANCE®, Element Guard®, Ultra Spec®, Fresh Start®, and Woodluxe®. If you have only ever used one brand, come compare a sample before you commit a whole room to it.
The person helping you has painted.
Tell us the surface and the problem. We will tell you what goes on it and what does not. If the answer is a cheaper product, that is the answer you get.
Bring your color with you
Switching brands does not mean giving up the color you already picked.
Bring a Sherwin-Williams color code, a paint chip, or a piece of trim from the room, and we will match it. You keep the color. You just get it in a different can.

Benjamin Moore for paint, stains, and primers. York Wallcoverings for wallpaper. Old Masters for wood stains on furniture, cabinets, trim, and floors.
